Not a fan of gatekeeping in this space when it comes to people talking about being around since X Y Z event or time, "you're not OG unless you remember..." I've been here since 2012, and I don't consider myself OG, there were plenty of people here well before me Some of the best and smartest people I know here have only been here a couple years, and some of the biggest scumbags have been here for a decade

. Gatekeeping based on time in a community is pointless and exclusionary. Quality of contributions matters more than length of time present
