There’s a phenomenon in web design where an upstart can force the hand of established websites and apps by launching a new UI with a fresh lick of paint. one e-commerce website launches a website redesign and suddenly other e-commerce websites start to look outdated. the knock-on effect is some users start to feel like the websites with older UI are SLOWER. Anyway, it seems like Kendrick’s sound being top-of-mind is going to make Drake’s music sound quaint for the foreseeable future.
