Here you can make a wish π« The legendary French singer and actress Dalida loved the Montmartre district. It reminded her of the eastern streets of Cairo, where she was born and raised. Having moved to Paris, the artist chose an apartment on rue d'Orchampt. On the 10th anniversary of the death of this great woman, the Paris City Hall opened Dalida Square with a bronze bust of the singer. As often happens with such pedestals, an urban legend immediately appeared about the monument. Guides with a smile assure that by rubbing Dalida's bust with your hand you can attract luck in love. You can see for yourself whether this is true by looking at the cozy square, climbing up to the Basilica of Sacre-Coeur.
