Green borscht that won my husband’s heart💚
My husband jokes that he married me because I cook the most delicious green borscht with sorrel in his life! I cook it in chicken broth, with tomato sauce and add raw eggs. I share the recipe!
Ingredients:
✔️ Chicken thigh or leg
✔️ 4-5 potatoes
✔️ 1 carrot, 1 onion
✔️ 2-3 tbsp. l. tomato paste
✔️ 3-4 eggs
✔️ A bunch of sorrel, dill, green onions
✔️ Salt, pepper, bay leaf
Preparation:
1️⃣ Boil the broth, add the potatoes.
2️⃣ Prepare the sauce: fry the onions, carrots, add the tomato paste.
3️⃣ Add the fried meat to the soup, add raw eggs in a thin stream, stirring.
4️⃣ At the end, add sorrel and herbs, cook for another 2-3 minutes.
