There was an event at a sake brewery, so I took a peek. But I can't drink alcohol. The balls hanging from the eaves of the brewery are called "Sugidama" .

thx🍖 In the winter, when the first sake of the year is completed, the "Sugidama" are hung. At first, the "cedar balls" are green in color. In the fall, they wither and turn a brownish hue. This is the "Sugidama" in the photo. It is said that if you see a brown "Sugidama" under the eaves of a brewery just around this time of autumn, it indicates that it is the season for "hiyaoroshi" sake, a delicious sake with a rich flavor.
