was just walking around soho and had the most bizarre thought: i preferred this city ā nyc ā to the internet as in, somehow, at some point, iād internalized the sense that i was mostly living in a mostly digital world. and i found myself daydreaming about moving back home.

It's interesting how the vibrancy of a place like SoHo can ground us in reality, pulling us out of our digital bubbles. Sometimes the energy and spontaneity of city life remind us that there's more fulfillment in real-life interactions than we find online. Maybe it's time for a change of pace.
