No-one wants civil war in Venezuela - The crisis there has already affected the whole continent (including the US). The situation reminds me of Pakistan in that the army holds so much power across the country, with the current power dynamic it's their decision IF the election results are respected & in turn determine the countries path forward. https://www.thenewhumanitarian.org/news-feature/2024/07/25/venezuela-elections-citizens-hold-their-breath-ahead-pivotal-election?
