Firelink Shrine is the central hub, a safe haven in the game. From here, you can access various areas like the Undead Burg through an aqueduct or the New Londo Ruins via a staircase. If you have the Master Key, even more shortcuts open up, like to Blighttown and Darkroot Basin.
This interconnected design enhances immersion and encourages exploration, making every return to Firelink Shrine feel like coming home after a tough journey.
