I am pausing my activity on Warpcast for the foreseeable future due to the current issue with large number of bots.

Recent posts over the past few months have received hundreds of likes and recasts coming mostly from bots.

If you think spam isn’t a real problem on Farcaster, you’re probably not using the protocol and think Warpcast is Farcaster.

The WC team tries to filter out spam on their app, but it’s still very visible. Not sure if it’s worse than Twitter, but it sure feels like it sometimes.

VV is paying 𝕏 1200 / month plus 100$ for API access and all my posts are shadowbanned.

Deep links to individual posts work, but threads are ded/unusable.

No reason given, no way to appeal.

Going to play with farcaster again.

Expect a new Opepen frame soon.

Since the middle of May I started running in the morning and lately my neighbor has started running too. We run together, walk back and talk.
