@kenny is right — as $DEGEN grows, it’s like Bitcoin. Early days were easy, now the difficulty has to rise. Most won’t mine BTC today cause it’s too costly. Same with $DEGEN: we need high-effort, high-return ways to earn it. No free lunch. The difficulty ratchets up 🎩

1/3 You have to compare what’s actually comparable. There’s a lot of noise right now around Degen L3 — dilution, tokenomics, etc. But comparing Degen to Bitcoin L1 is a flawed framework. I’ve been on both sides: – I mined BTC when it was still realistically profitable for individuals. – I also contributed to early-stage “shitcoins” as a community dev or supporter, often with the goal of building or swapping into BTC. Bitcoin had over 10 years to become what it is today. It had the luxury of time, experimentation, and gradual adoption. Some mined, some built, some just believed early. But no one expected a perfect economic model in the first year. Degen L3 is one year old. It’s not a Layer 1. It’s not BTC. It’s a playground for social, economic, and community experimentation. Trying to over-stabilize the ecosystem too early kills the same creative energy that brought attention in the first place.
