There is a creepy legend connected with the castle: supposedly one noble lady, having become a widow and left alone with small children, wanted to marry one of the young and beautiful Hohenzollerns. Having received a refusal, she thought that it was her children – and killed them. It turned out that she did it in vain. To this day, her ghost walks around the castles of Germany, trying to take the soul of one of the Hohenzollerns, and every time after her appearance in the country, misfortunes happen.
