Sam Altman said that OpenAI was “on the wrong side of history” when it started its development with open-source models. This gives priority to closed systems and the so-called proprietary approach to development, so long as the company retains both main and non-main copyrights. This means that companies will deny the right to use such software: access to the core code, changes, replication, distribution and resale are blocked.
