Sure Sui has been on the rise but it's nowhere near the ecosystem of Solana. Very much like Sol has been on the rise but is nowhere near the ecosystem of Ethereum.

Cool idea but it may create silos.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out. I'm on a mission to check out something new every day and share it when I find something useful.

As a noob here I dedicated to starting a streak by sharing usefull farcaster stuff here on a daily basis. Here's the first one: Want to lookup casts containing a string of text? You can do that on Searchcaster : searchcaster.xyz I think it gets overloades sometimes (running slow) but you can run it locally or use the API if it's useful to you.

At first, I thought this was a terrible idea, but splitting rewards equally among the top third by stake likely incentivize more participants to reach that threshold, reducing the dominance of large stakeholders. This change encourages a more distributed stake, which could ultimately improve the Nakamoto Coefficient by increasing the number of independent actors securing the network.

I came across this collection of awesome Farcaster links and thought it might be helpful for some of my fellow degens here. https://github.com/a16z/awesome-farcaster

L2s might have patched the fee problem, but they've divided the ecosystem. Too many solutions, not enough cohesion. What’s the point of scaling if we end up sacrificing UX and composability?

Reminder: the onboarding experience for normies is still brutal. Choosing a wallet, L2 complexity, bridging, fees/gas... 12 words to generate a seed phrase? No wonder many are intimidated. Let's keep it real and acknowledge that crypto is hard.

Having a receipt and the ability to retrieve it from the client could solve the warpcast centralization issue. IMO provability is key here. If the client doesn't show the receipt, it's the client that can't be trusted. If there's a receipt but the message is not propagated, the validator is suspect.

With regards to posting the signed message on X: Not sure if there will be a receipt ( or similar e.g. gossip ) upon announcing the message to the network ? If not, sharing a signed message doesn't prove much.

IMO, the number of validators is not a good metric (even though 10 is sub-optimal) but @vrypan does have a point about the governance aspect. A low number of validators puts a lot of strain on the mechanism by which these are elected. More info on that would be welcome as I couldn't find much.
