🔔 Did you know? GMX users got over 60,000 critical alerts delivered directly to @coinbasewallet via notifi + XMTP in July. Real-time alerts both keep users safe, but also keep them engaged. This cast shows how dapps + wallets use XMTP to reach + engage users, safely + securely.

XMTP is building an onchain solution for trusted communications. When you subscribe to a dapp like GMX, the permission is stored securely on the network. This lets inboxes like @coinbasewallet know GMX has the permission to reach you. It's the trusted source of truth. 👇

1️⃣ Everything starts with verified permission. Dapps let users sign to subscribe, using XMTP. Because it's a wallet signature that cannot be spoofed, all apps + inboxes can now trust to deliver messages to that user.

2️⃣ A smarter approach for senders. Currently, email providers like MailChimp have no way to verify that you actually gave a company permission to email you. This leads to spam because they have no source of truth. XMTP's solution let's senders check, then send...reducing spam.

3️⃣ This means trusted + verified communications for users, dapps, & senders. When users can trust communications, and those communications happen on a secure, encrypted network with crypto rails, new use-cases can emerge that were not previously possible.

If you're interested in how XMTP's network-level consent can create trusted + verified communication, (especially in the wake of AI-generated spoofing and spam), take a look at our documentation here: https://docs.xmtp.org/consent/user-consent
