"Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" (Vingt mille lieues sous les mers) is a novel written by the French writer Jules Verne. It is part of the "Verne Trilogy" (the other two are "Captain Grant's Children" and "The Mysterious One") The second part of "Island"). The book consists of 2 volumes and 47 chapters.
The novel mainly tells the story of Aronnax, a naturalist and biologist, his servant Conseil and harpooner Ned Land traveling around the seabed with Nemo, captain of the submarine Nautilus.
