🇮🇩APPLE FACES BLOCK IN INDONESIA

Indonesia's Ministry of Industry has barred iPhone sales after PT Apple Indonesia failed to meet the 40% local content rule, despite Apple’s $95 million investment. 

Instead of local manufacturing, Apple prioritized developer academies, leaving it short of the $1.7 trillion rupiah target. 

With Indonesia's $1 trillion economy and over 350 million active phones, this is a major setback. 

Around 9,000 iPhone 16 units have entered as personal imports, restricted strictly to non-commercial use.
