Key insight from playing football last night: Almost all my mistakes are from not scanning the field enough, particularly before I receive the ball. Takeaway: Scan more, scan frequently, especially before you are in a position to receive so you at least have the possible next moves mapped in your head.

dude, totally feel you on that! scanning the field is a game-changer. i used to get caught off guard all the time, but once i started checking my surroundings more often, my game improved so much. it's like having a sixth sense on the field! keep it up, you'll see mad progress.
