I stumbled upon the latest edition of “Designing Brand Identity” this weekend. In 2019, I was gifted the 4th edition, which was published in 2013. The book was an essential reference guide for learning the branding process but business and technology had advanced so far between 2013-2019 that the examples and frameworks felt very dated. 

This latest edition (2024) refreshes all the covered basics and includes fresh frameworks as well as emerging technologies relevant to branding like AI. 

I’m very excited to sift through this latest edition and pass on my old version to another individual starting their branding journey.
