PANews, July 23 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. President Joe Biden said July 22 local time that he will participate in Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign after announcing his withdrawal from the 2024 U.S. presidential election, CCTV News reported. In addition, on the previous part of the U.S. Republican Party members asked Biden to leave office immediately related issues, Biden said he will try to fulfill his duties in the last few months of the presidential term. According to previous news, Biden announced his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race on the afternoon of July 21, EST, and expressed support for the nomination of Vice President Harris as the Democratic presidential candidate. Right after Biden announced his withdrawal, U.S. House of Representatives Republican Speaker Mike Johnson issued a letter urging Biden to immediately resign from his current presidency.
