they could anyway (download and mint) but we're experimenting with making the most convenient way to do so, one where you get paid. the reasoning is that, as a creator, when you create something of value, you should "mint first, then distribute." you might post and then think, damn i should mint that, and now you can!

How are you handling trademark & DMCA issues here man? Artists who create have control & it's one thing to allow personal use (download/mint) but it's another thing to profit from it and automate those rips. I get the concept but without artist permission this is gonna be a nasty legal issue way sooner than later.
