There is a poll going on for the Commons Hub Brussels to name the rooms. I vote for MUSH. What do you say Regen?

nfcwallet.xyz in action. Easiest way to onboard citizens to web3. Just give them an NFC tag and they are good to go. 👌

We turned the wristband of all @ethglobal attendees into a cryptowallet 🤯 Top it up with USDC on @base, then "tap to pay" with our native PoS app. Next: integrate it to the @citizenwallet. Ping us if you’d like to offer that for your event! Video: https://x.com/xdamman/status/1769752521877160352

Check out our @ethglobal London hackathon project: NFC Wallet. Turn any NFC tag into an account abstracted wallet on @base. Top it up with USDC and tap to pay at whitelisted stations. 👉 https://ethglobal.com/showcase/nfc-wallet-xwuff

I was excited to see the Ethernet cables on the tables at @ethglobal London and what I thought was an Ethernet adapter in the welcome bag. Except it’s not an Ethernet adapter. So no utility for me (and many of us). 👉 why this electronic waste? Why not at least make it “opt in”? #EthGlobal #London

Love it. Just fyi “laissez-faire” comes from French and requires an “e” at the end. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laissez-faire I could see making it on purpose to embody fairness but the mix of the two is odd here. My 2 Wei ;-) Power to the people who do, so do what you want 🙂

Interesting point indeed. But what makes you believe that humans are more powerful optimizers than nature? Also, arguably, humans are a product of nature. We are nature.

Walls on wheels (aka cars) that isolate us from our environment and turn us into different beings with a different behavior. We are the traffic. Cars are prisons. We mostly don’t need them. We should just rent them on demand. And to go outside of cities.

Walls and fences around our gardens. Everyone their own micro garden instead of every block having their own shared park where people can meet. Cats enjoy more freedom than humans because of those.

Web3 is the Internet of cooperatives. How might we help existing cooperatives join the network? What’s in there for them? Why should they care?

Once you start designing from the perspective of the token issuer (TI), with a dedicated AA to interact with it, the trust model becomes very different. By using that token, you are indeed already de facto trusting the TI as they could mint/burn the token.

As a token issuer, you should be able to sponsor gas fees to interact with your contract. This would greatly reduce the friction to get new people to use it. Your token could simply have an AA factory that people would use to generate an account just to interact with your token.

If I understand correctly, ERC4337 requires a custom bundler/validator to be able to accurately estimate gas fees for any possible contract. But what if you’d restrict the AA to only be able to interact with a whitelist of contracts? Couldn’t you then drop that requirement and simplify the implementation?
