Ethereum is getting heavy. there are so many projects on it which are risky to whole ecosystem. i am curious about the future of this.

How are they risky?

they are wholly connected to each other and one problem in one project may have dominoes across the ecosystem.

They are not though, they are connected to the protocol but not with each other. Most projects is just a smart contract essentially, if itβs bugged it will only affect itself. If youβre referring to layer 2βs they kind of work the same way on a high level.

Also, if youβre worried about clogging of the network: Someone always have to pay for gas, which will always be net positive for the protocol because of the burn mechanism. More clogging just means more incentives to move activity to layer 2βs, which means organic scaling.
