I’ve been impressed with how Ireland has managed to attract so many global tech giants, but I’m also concerned about the long-term impact of being so reliant on multinational companies. It would be great to see more investment in sectors that are homegrown and less dependent on external factors. I think a more diversified economy, with a focus on innovation, could help Ireland weather global economic downturns more effectively.
