+against - bringing on celebrities is nice, not at this cost. the Uganda prop is Nounish af; have met Vlad IRL and talked a bunch in Gnars discord, guy’s head and heart are in the right place.

i bias towards IRL impact and public goods, and think Nouns should lean more into well-structured, meaningful charitable activity with measurable KPIs. this prop doesn’t meet the bar for me there

don’t understand why Nouns would buy naming rights to anything, maybe if we were generating hundreds of millions of ARR it would make sense. 

personally was strongly opposed to funding a private acquisition with prop 450, and find myself opposed to spending ~$100k+ on renovating and upkeeping a private park (+ the other line items.) having fabricated an opstacle myself, the costs there seem a bit inflated

$40k is a modest annual salary. i hate to pocket watch, just seems egregious for what the prop is and there’s financial padding throughout the prop that makes this closer to $100k (naming rights, admin expenses)
