Tangentially, all other value accrual mechanisms in crypto should be minimised to remain competitive with non-crypto solutions Fees, commissions, margins, and yes, tokens, all of that needs to tend towards zero Tokenless, governanceless, intermediariless, non-profit protocols are the true USP PS: only applies for valuable 3-5 usecases where strict global consensus is useful, for everything else non-crypto is simply better

i spent the last week rebuilding open browser wallet from scratch with the goal of being more of a blank canvas for a application-specific browser wallets features - built on wagmi + viem's account abstraction libraries - it now has no styling whatsoever - uses database backend by default with authenticated sessions (will have a standalone example in the future) - connect to apps with Coinbase Wallet SDK, Mobile Wallet Protocol, and WalletConnect (wip) - supports most common wallet features (sign messages, sign transactions, etc.) - multichain support out the box might refactor this into a library at some point but waiting to see which abstractions make sense https://github.com/stephancill/open-browser-wallet

Passkey wallet on keys.farcaster.xyz during onboarding the user enrols a passkey and the onboarding app enrols an EOA owner that it can use to do stuff in the background without constantly prompting the user for sigs (ideally with limited permissions via session keys) This way once the user is onboarded, apps can permissionlessly integrate passkey based sign in with farcaster and signer requests without needing the user to have warpcast installed Smart wallets and apps can make use of all the ERC4337 stuff like paymasters and bundlers. Could even be built in a way that allows apps to provide these as inputs Have built a prototype of this onboarding flow, needs some more polish before releasing
