I come from a family of alcoholics and addicts— how did no one including the D.A.R.E. program prepare me for a caffeine addiction

I didn’t drink caffeine as a kid with the exception of maybe a cocacola on the rare occasion such as a birthday party for a kid in my class

Now, caffeine is the only* thing that slows my mind down long enough to get anything done
