It feels weird to see the overwhelming majority of web3 platforms that link to a Twitter account instead of a Farcaster account.

Likely because those platforms don't think it matters enough to prioritize it vs. other pressing needs.

And yet - that small detail is becoming a good filter IMO

Would wager that many don't really know about it, or have such a big Twitter following already that it isn't yet compelling to try to build here. Mostly though I think they just don't know how to regard it after others like blue sky and friend tech blew up then deflated

Definitely lots of barriers, especially if there are large existing audiences at play.

But what's happening on Farcaster genuinely feels like a big enough shift where it's probably worth ripping off the bandaid for most people.
