Why don't we see more consumer hardware, TVs, personal devices, health/sleep/fitness trackers, etc. doing the opposite... At this point, it feels like non-tracking devices could easily be sold as premium products. I'd happily pay more for that https://x.com/ProtonVPN/status/1907515609514127497

The answer is rather simple: the size of the premium we are willing to pay (collectively, all of us wanting such devices) is nowhere near the threshold for justifying a business attempting manufacturing them.
