I think in one word “distribution” both the scale they have (15+ million app users) and also the demographics (Argentina / Chile) people who actually need DeFi. A lot more to be said on this though and wasn’t an easy choice :)

Average crypto media range from absolutely misleading information like "crypto has saved argentina" to nuanced but still wrong takes like "there's actionable things that could be done for Argentina to benefit from blockchain tech more than other countries". Both concepts are wrong.

Argentina could benefit from defi tech the same way India, Angola, Turkey or Romania can. It's not too different. What makes it be a classical target from crypto media (instead of the before-mentioned countries) is that it's culturally very similar to the US.
