At the recent Devconnect, I had a casual conversation with the lead researcher of a prominent zk-rollup. I inquired about managing the risks of hacks and bugs in Layer 2 solutions—are we truly dependent on multisigs and the social trust placed in the founders?

He suggested that we should strive for the stability exemplified by immutable protocols like Uniswap v2.
