Spam labels Once the new version of channels launch at the end of this week, Warpcast spam labels will not apply within channels. If you're a member of a channel, everyone else will see your cast in that channel. Your channel, your rules. Additionally, all of your followers will see your casts in your home feed. Spam labels will only apply to replies to people who don't follow you outside of channels. For channel owners / mods, if someone is being spammy in your channel after the changes launch, you can either 1) hide their cast or 2) remove them as a member.

Since spam labels do not apply within channels, there is a risk that some users may abuse channels by posting spam content. Administrators will have to manage spam directly, and the larger the channel, the greater the administrative burden could become. Additionally, As administrators are responsible for hiding spam casts or removing members, they may face the increasing pressure of handling all issues directly. This could lead to concerns about fairness in their decisions. Channel owners might even need to compensate Mods for their efforts.
