[vote 703] gm. once upon a time, i joined the EF in 2017 on the mist browser team. spent the last 5 years on the python team helping maintain web3.py and friends. founding member of Developer DAO. fills my bucket to see new devs unlock skills and brighter futures. i played the game on brand: pragmatic, chill, occasionally helpful, one or two well-timed wisecracks, and playing long-term games (i.e., making connections to last beyond the length of the game). flying under the radar comes easy, this part does not. so in that spirit, ill try to deflect most of the attention: the pledge: majority of funds directly to D_D as builder grants, empowering developers to create apps and tools that strengthen the community and can be adopted elsewhere. the rest? i'll account for taxes and use 4 eth for a vacation - because my wife, a stay-at-home mother of toddler triplets, deserves it. dont grok channels yet - - entertaining the idea of starting a streak, maybe within /buildinpublic - cant find it in the list of streak options (search bar would help here) - visit channel, follow the channel - see 'members', but dont know what that means, how to become one, or if that matters cc/ @dwr.eth

im sure someone out there's got a published react component. looks like there are several options for pulling a user's followers though. not a long stretch from there. e.g., `get_followers` in https://github.com/a16z/farcaster-py. got some tinkering to do 🙃

ah, i found starter packs - great feature. i was referring to the social proof the apps use when onboarding, e.g. "10 of your farcaster follows use this app". are there convenient SDKs for this type of functionality yet?
