This is my last post in politics for a couple days.

I just want to say this.  During Covid Trump had the chance to take a lot of control and power under emergency law.  It was there for the taking.  What did he do ?  He didnt even mandate rules from the federal level.  He let the states make those choices at the state level.  The complete opposite of the picture democrats want to paint of Trump.  The exact opposite.  Then when the democrats took control they mandated the vaccine and were found guilty in the court of law for imposing against our rights as americans to have free speech.  Guilty.  Not for some paper filing.  For taking away OUR RIGHTS.  GUILTY.
So Trump took zero efforts to take control....but when Biden got in office.... HE ACTUALLY DID IMPOSE RULES OVER THE STATES.
Hypocrites.

As we get closer to election day I notice more and more people revealing their presidential preferences. Here are mine. And to elaborate a bit, I do think objectively speaking that Trump and his movement are fascist. He really does tick every box. Those voting for him are clearly OK with that, and I find it disingenuous when they deny it. You may find his form of fascism better than the alternative candidate's positions -- I don't know why you would but people are going to disagree. But if you deny Trump has strongly fascist tendencies I'll struggle to take you seriously. I don't plan on debating politics much more here, it's mostly counter productive since those willing to debate have already dug in their heels.  But figured I'd put my views out there before the big day.  Regardless of your position, do get out there and vote, and if Trump does win, I hope those of you supporting him will still be willing to push back when he inevitably crosses the line towards establishing authoritarian rule. Cheers!

To put it in short: he's read a book on what happened during the regime of the third reich in Germany, not mentioning any parallels nor analysis to and on the current economic climate - is how he's arrived to his conclusion as to what will happen next.

after a few years full time crypto since transitioning from the family office space, i still feel culture shock re:

most family offices earned their wealth through insane sacrifice to build a company VS most of (loud) crypto earned it by being early to click a button

to me FC feels like the former, not the latter
