If everything works out the way it should, there should be consumer applications whose enterprise value surpasses the value of the underlying chain it lives on.

This is very apparent when you add up the mcap of all dapps currently on chains.  But yes I can see a few being more valued than the actual chain where it lives.  Though; I feel a more omnichain approach would make specific dapps even more valuable.
