Marcel is located at the border of Belgium and the Netherlands. Although there are not many famous paintings, Jan van Eyck was born here, and many of the early manuscripts were completed here. This large market also showcases European characteristics better than many Belgian squares. There are no refugees, no begging, no urine smell, all of them are locals
