Its about a suicidal writer who has the power to return isekai "heroes" to their original world
These "heroes" has fallen and become villain due to their twisted personality and terrorizing the citizens of the isekai world. 
The writer travels together with his companion, and with his eccentric writer nature, he rewrite the stories of those fallen heroes to return them to their original world

If you don’t mind sci-fi, then Gundam 0080 war in the pocket, Gundam 0083 Star Dust Memory, Gundam 08th MS team has some nice more grittier military taste to the show.
