What’s your take on Israel’s military doctrine/standards, regarding opponents civil death.

It was generally pretty strict and kept to when I served. Hard to accomplish well in guerrilla warfare when the opponent is hiding among civilians. That’s why the US killed 100-200k Iraqi civilians. 

That being said, I think today’s gov/army in Israel is adhering to this less
