Unfortunately people will always go towards self destruction. In a temporary escape from reality the thorns of this world will still be there until death. No matter what we do, until we can be transformed to a healthy mindset the world will self destruct

I know man. We know the stuff we indulge in kills us. Thankfully we were able to overcome. It takes a healthy mindset to break addiction. For me I wanted a different future, and broke out of a downward destructive lifestyle. I still find escape in certain things but glad I got away from the roulette wheel

Addiction is a disease of the mind. This is no different than killing people with diabetes.
