I suppose what I’m asking is does Polymarket act as a counterparty or simply facilitate bet matching?

Thank for clarifying . . . So that $270k lost on no was won by people betting yes, right?

Figured it was clickbaitish to say people lost $ betting on something . . . But an about equal amount is won so . . .

Users trade amongst themselves, not through PolyMarket

Basically $270k was bet on “NO” but it resolved to “YES”
