from bottom 100's to top 50 in less than 48 hours 🫡 this is the only game on here i've ever understood

i thought i understood but i don't

stoking fire seems to randomly add huge villagers sometimes and basically 0 other times lol

it’s all based on surplus food and villager capacity

how much surplus do i need?

i have 23 villagers rn
hut lv 8 = max 40 villagers right?

currently have 26 food
if i stoke now - +1 trophy +1 villager, -23 food

are you saying if i have like 60 food, i'd get +24trophy +24 villager?

this explains why i’m getting so badly gapped on the leaderboard 

i thought you just needed enough food to feed your current villagers to get new ones but couldn’t work out how it decided whether it gave you more or less 🫠

not sure the exact calculation but it you had 60 food you’d get a lot more trophies and villagers yes

food > wood imo

try and build 3+ huts before every stoke at the start, with at least double your populations food
