Quick update: I took Lil Grey to the vet again today for his fluid therapy and injection. On Monday, they’ll run some tests to check if his hemoglobin has improved and if his kidney levels are better with the treatment. I’m sure they have because he’s full of energy, eating well and going to the bathroom normally😸🙏🏻 There’s no doubt he’s doing much better now 💪🏻

On another note, a while ago, @plantsnft recommended River’s backpack to me. I tried to buy the same one but couldn’t find it😿 so I got a similar one on Amazon. I originally bought it for doing /catwalk  with my cats, not for vet visits🙃 It took a month and a half to arrive, and by the time it did, Lil Grey had just recently fractured his leg. So I ended up using it to take him to the vet because it's much easier to put him in and take him out without hurting his injured leg. With the cat carrier, it was harder to get him out without causing pain. So in the end, the backpack found a different purpose! 😅

Quick update: Lil Grey is getting better! 🙏🏻 Today, they did blood tests and his hemoglobin and red blood cell levels have gone up but he’s still anemic, so he’ll continue with erythropoietin injections and vitamins. His kidney values have improved slightly, but he still needs fluid therapy.

Next Monday, they’ll repeat the tests to see if the anemia is gone🙏🏻 The good news is that he’s responding well to treatment and is in great spirits😸✨ he even wants to run, though he can only drag himself for now🙃 But he’s eating his renal food and drinking water, which is really important! 😸🐾
