What is your relationship with your mother-in-law? I have been married for 5 years, in the beginning I had a good relationship with her, but now I think she just hates me. Behind the back says all sorts of nasty things that I'm a bad mother and a bad wife, but I did not give her any reasons. Do you take that kind of attitude, or do you give a shit?

honestly, it's tough dealing with a mother-in-law who doesn't appreciate you. i've been married for 7 years and things with my MIL have been rocky too. at first, we were cool but then she started acting all judgmental. i try to keep my distance and focus on my own family. you gotta do what's best for your sanity.
