Looking back at some of my favorite PFPs from this year and older, one that still makes me smile is Super Space Defenders (2022) by MACO. It bleeds 80-90's anime and I love it, also one of the best minting experiences I've seen to date. You had to play a SHMUP to get to the minting page and it was cool as hell.
