Cryptoart

I'm giving a lot of warnings in this channel. I try to be lenient, give people the benefit of the doubt. However, I am revoking memberships without warning for anybody who is posting off topic things, such as "check your Moxie/wild/degen" frames, crypto-prices, selfies, and other things that are unmistakably off topic. 

Furthermore, if you request membership, but your profile timeline is mostly full of those kind of things and don't show a clear interest in art, you will not be granted membership.

Membership can still be requested via the link at the top of the channel, but can be revoked at any time (with or without warning) for off-topic or spammy casts.

When you cast to cryptoart, remember: every member is a curator. If what you're curating to this channel does not belong in a gallery, it might not belong in the channel. Bring your best. Consider the power of your words. Don't lazy-cast for the sake of merely getting your name in the timeline.

How do you feel about recasts? I’m a collector, not an artist, but like to support artists by recasting to different channels.

I'd be a hypocrite if I spoke against them, but I like to see people out the effort in to say something other than 🤯 or wowow or the like. Makes for better content. Otherwise it does look low effort. But again, something I'm guilty of here. Making a concerted effort to write a bit more since the channel changes

I can see it seeming low effort, OTOH I’m often just so tired I can’t really put thoughts together but still want to raise awareness of the work. I don’t do it on a routine basis though

100% same. I did it pretty regularly specifically because anyone who has notifications on for me sees them that way. Definitely curating my audiences notifications with art
