However, recently, the performance of the market on the purple app is completely contrary to my thoughts as an artist. Because, if we want to be realistic, everyone on the purple app is unconsciously farming engagement like a robot, giving away some of a coin that actually represents the identity of a meme

Some parts agree, some disagree.

Stagnation is only for the people who based their all around the coin instead of just folding it into existing and growing strategies.

Artists gotta do what they gotta do to make the bills, grow, evolve.

This just mainly reiterates why we shouldn’t take shortcuts.

I generally avoid telling people the best way to do things bc we all are different, and especially as artists, we gotta find our own ways. Helps to avoid gatekeepers. Also why I tend to avoid judging people for how they move in this space😆so many perspectives 🌻

And this is why i try to advice people (since 2010 or even before, not since crypto started) about not relying on coins and memes bc after what they only will have to look for work will be a bunch of memes, hypes, pfps and more things that out cryptoart NOBODY nor know nor like.

I totally get it of course. Nothing new, we already saw this many times before (and how it failed, with temporary and volatile benefit) but after it art is what must remains, and if it’s “holded” in memes and coins, it wont. This is why i NEVER did it. I prefer cleaning streets to do my living tbh 😇👍
