to buy AirPods…or a $20 Lightning to audio jack adapter, or Lightning EarPods for a similar price And now a USB-C to audio DAC or adapter for the new USB-C generation of iPhones

Wires were the problem for me lol How many times I walked past a doorknob or something sticking out and the EarPods cable got caught and ripped them out of my ears or pulled the phone out of my pocket Apple is our savior

I agree, wires easily got tangled and created a mess, introduction of AirPods were definitely needed, but I don’t know about Apple being our savior though, they ship the same phones with a slight upgrades that aren’t even noticeable sometimes no upgrade Atall i do love the new Dynamic Island and introduction for usb C though, but I guess they’re apple, only Apple can successfully ship the same phones most years, call it a different name and still make hella sales.

Haha, the savior part was just me being a lil facetious I work for them, so I’m a lil biased 😅 Cords are just constraints though.. and messy to manage, can’t really put them in pockets without them tangling up and all the other disadvantages I’m glad for the move to USB-C for sure
