In an unfortunate turn of events, myself & @nikdmello.eth will no longer be working with the /9to5 project. Yesterday, it came to our attention that 2 members of the core team did the unthinkable and sold 50M tokens into the only positive catalyst we’ve had in months - the Base Ventures DAO buy in.

@mjfunds & @foreigngods sold their tokens in secret, tried to hide the fact when confronted, and then justified their actions by saying “devs do it all the time”. 

In addition to this, it has also come to our attention that @mjfunds rugged 2 other WAGMI launches that he promoted to various /9to5 holders. (Evidence here: https://x.com/ans4tsu/status/1815523149003272226?s=46)

I will not work with a project that does this to its holders. While encouraging all of us to buy, they were planning to sell into us. They used all of us and Base Ventures for some exit liquidity.

So here is my turn to get the Mic

After funding all marketing expenses, getting listed on directories, paybot, swapbot, meme contests, raid contests, swap contests, and many more... I did end up selling 1000$ total. $400 of which came before the Based Ventures purchase (which btw everything was public information) and $600 after. I understood @maretus.eth concerns of how this is a bad look which i have sent him back the 1eth to give it back.

The snapshot provided was indeed a snipe bot $77 purchase as soon as /9to5 launched and $2.2k sell. My $600 sell had an estimate of ~6% price impact. I have came to a realization that the sell after BV purchase was indeed a bad look on us which once again i had no problem returning the 1eth back. 

I want to do the right thing and was not willing to transfer any ownership over to @maretus.eth. For all those who has been hurt, please drop your wallet addresses down below and i will be giving all my position away ~57mm tokens

The back peddling and excuses are always my favorite part. It’s terrible that you wouldn’t run this by other members of the team if you’re going to sell that much.
