🎶 Queen spent only 17 minutes on stage at Wembley Stadium in July 1985, but it was enough to go down in rock history and change the band forever. Despite the fact that Queen was on a wave of success at this time thanks to their platinum 11th album The Works in 1984, frontman Freddie Mercury got bored in the mid-80s and started looking for something new.🎶 

🎶 "Everything has become very ordinary for us," Mercury said. "I wanted to leave behind everything we've been doing for the last 10 years. It's a complete routine. Everything went along a well-worn track: to come to the studio, make an album, go outside, travel around the world and make a noise, then come back and find that it was time to make a new album. It's time to do what artists do... paint, then step away from the painting and see how it looks in perspective. That's what we needed. To stand apart from each other, otherwise it was impossible to get out of this routine and realize that we were moving down."🎶
