Yeah. My kid is independent so I give him a much freedom as I can safely. He helps me cook, picks out his clothes, I have kid-safe knives and stuff so he can cut his own food. He's in a Montessori school so they encourage all that too. But I'm always trying fight his and my contrarion ways 😆

I feared and hoped that! I'm just trying to find the right balance and today was a hard day. He wants to do things his way, which is so normal, but the usual answers as to why just aren't doing it anymore. It's a big change for sure.
