I don't understand the American justice system. Steal ~10$B and cause people to kill themselves -> 25 years Download academic journals from MIT to share with the world -> charged with 2 counts of wire fraud and eleven violations of the CFAA (~carries a max sentence 35 years). Remember Aaron Swartz

SBF faced up to 120 years and was sentenced to 25. Swartz faced a maximum of 35 and was offered 6 months plea bargain and committed suicide two days after declining the plea deal. Not that Swartz's offense is in any way comparable to SBF's (or even an offense, all things considered), but context is relevant here.

yes I gave the context that fits in a cast. Stated the facts and am comparing the way that justice is carried out in those two cases.
